Ontem a NASA divulgou que essa nave irá levar humanos até a Lua em 2024. Irão colocar dinheiro publico no projeto. O Musk já havia lançado 10 em teste. Destruiu agora as de numero 11, 12, 13 e 14 e já irá lançar a versão 15 com atualizações. E com a grana da Nasa irá acelerar mais ainda os testes.

São quatro as empresas selecionadas, cada uma responsável por operar uma unidade do CEA. A Hyperion, dos Estados Unidos (EUA), vai operar o sistema de plataforma VLS. A Orion Ast, também norte-americana, ficará responsável por atuar no lançador suborbital. A canadense C6 Launch foi escolhida para operar a Área do Perfilador, que também é um ponto de lançamento, e a Virgin Orbit, outra empresa dos EUA, atuará no aeroporto de Alcântara, que faz parte da base. A expectativa é que as primeiras operações de lançamento tenham início em 2022.
